Signaturit Group, a leading provider of electronic signatures, identification, and digital certificates, and Powens, a major player in Open Banking across Europe, are announcing a strategic alliance aimed at bringing real-time banking data to digital onboarding and credit risk analysis.
What This Partnership Is All About
Through this collaboration, Signaturit Group integrates Powens’ Open Banking (AIS) technology into its platform, enabling a secure connection to users’ bank accounts with their consent. This integration automates the retrieval of financial and identity data (such as income, expenses, IBAN, and account ownership) in full compliance with PSD2 standards, streamlining identity verification and credit assessment.
The flow of data between both platforms is carried out through encrypted channels and strong authentication protocols, in complete compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Users retain full control and authorization over access to and use of their banking information, which is used exclusively for audit and analytical purposes.
A Smoother, Smarter Onboarding Experience
This integration automates the essential steps of the Know Your Customer (KYC) process, minimizing manual checks and improving data consistency and reliability. For businesses, this translates into a more agile onboarding process, a smoother user experience, and better decision-making across sectors such as financial services, insurance, and real estate.
Powens and Signaturit Group are thus reinforcing their commitment to a safer, more transparent, and more reliable digital identity, helping to drive the adoption of Open Banking across Europe.
“By integrating Powens’ AIS services into our platform, we are taking another step toward the complete digitization of onboarding and identity verification processes. This allows our clients to automatically extract banking and financial information, reducing the time required and ensuring regulatory compliance across Europe,”
said Michaël Lakhal, Chief Product Officer at Signaturit Group.
“We are thrilled about this collaboration with Signaturit Group. By integrating Powens’ Open Banking data into their workflows, Signaturit enables its clients to obtain instant and reliable financial information, facilitating fast, real-time decision-making. Our technology for solvency checks provides key indicators — income, expenses, banking behavior — that accelerate decisions, reduce risk, and streamline the user experience. Also, by automating verifications with KYC, Signaturit reduces the risk of human error and makes it easier to adhere to compliance.“
Added Nicolas Ribeaut, Chief Revenue Officer at Powens:
The solution is already integrated into the Signaturit Group platform and is available in France and Spain.
This agreement is the result of a shared vision to promote a comprehensive European digital identity and trust ecosystem, combining technology, innovation, and regulatory compliance to deliver tangible value to businesses and users alike.
